Overall Twitch launcher is an app made for ~20 different things that have nothing to do with Minecraft. In the coming months, MultiMC will be updated to support the new login system. And they take a long time, and almost never have anything to do with MC. Every time I started it up, it wanted to update. The twitch launcher is a big download, takes a minute to start every time (at least on my machine), requires a twitch sign in, blocks the features I listed until you go into advanced options and say, "I know what I'm doing." And last but certainly not least, Twitch updates come often. Options like disabling/enabling mods, changing RAM allocation, and Java arguments are available by default. it is unquestionably better in every way possible, except one: making and maintaining your own modpacks. A downloadable profile with Labymod installed for those launcher(s) would be great or at least an option in the installer or just a fabric mod jar, which can be installed with every launcher. You don't have to sign in to twitch to play Minecraft. I dont know anybody, who uses this crappy launcher. It allows you to have multiple, cleanly separated instances of Minecraft (each with their own mods, resource packs, saves, etc) and helps you manage them and their associated options with a simple and powerful interface.

You can sort your instances by last launched or by thier name. Image shows a screenshot of the Minecraft launcher with fabric 1.17.1 and Essential. This here allows you to change what language MultiMC is in, the default for it is English. In the launcher you will see your new profile right there, ready to be used. MultiMC is lightweight and doesn't come with a million extra features. From this you can reset hidden notifications.
